Pretty In Pink

I had too much fun turning this vintage desk into something worthy of any little girl's bedroom. It's painted with a hint of pink and  I used antiquing wax to highlight the details.

The desk is from a line of furniture called Harmony House. It was offered by Sears from 1940 to 1968. Click on the link to learn more.

The desk is a kneehole style. Read more about kneehole desks here.
I tried this new Cabinet and Furniture paint from Valspar and I was really impressed with its performance. It still took three coats of paint to cover the dark wood. ๐Ÿ˜ It has a semi-gloss sheen with built in sealant. Loved that!
Maverick likes it too.
I can't wait to see who ends up with this gorgeous desk and its matching chair and rug.
          Offered at $350
(includes desk, chair, rug and ballerina mouse)

Desk is 30"Hx44"Wx23"D,
Chair is 33"Hx17"Wx18"D,
Rug is 3'x4.5'
